Privacy and confidentiality

• What you type into the intake form — your name, company, email and industry, which are required; a phone number if you choose to leave one; and anything else you write about how the work runs.
• Ordinary server records kept by the company that hosts this site, the way every website keeps them: the page requested, the time, the browser, and the network address it came from. They exist to serve the page and stop abuse.
• A spam check on the form, so a machine cannot bury the inbox. It confirms you are a person and nothing more.

No tracking, no advertising pixels, no analytics, no session recording, and no cookies used to follow you. That is why there is no cookie banner on this site.

A submitted form is emailed straight to chad@theblairstandard.com and kept with his own records of the conversation. Chad reads it. Nobody else does.

It is used to answer you and to scope the work, and for nothing else. It is never sold, rented, traded, or added to a mailing list, and it is not fed to anyone else's advertising.

What we discuss stays between us — before there is a contract, while the work runs, and after it ends.

That covers the awkward parts, which are usually the important ones: what the numbers really look like, what broke, who is not carrying their weight, what an earlier vendor left behind.

If you would rather have it in writing before we ever meet, say so and I will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement first. A mutual NDA is a short contract where each side promises not to share what it learns from the other. It cuts both ways on purpose.

Blair Standard does not publish client names, logos or testimonials, and does not name clients in conversation with anyone else. Who you are is treated as privately as what is inside your system.

It costs this firm the easiest marketing there is, and it is worth it. A company that will trade your name for a logo wall will trade something else later.

Everything above is about this website. Once there is a signed agreement and a system being built, the business data inside it belongs to the client, not to Blair Standard — and a complete, checked copy of it is available whenever the client asks for it. The terms of that live in the agreement itself, not on this page.

Email chad@theblairstandard.com and ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Deleted means deleted, apart from anything a law or a signed agreement requires be kept.

This site is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
